General PMU & Bookings

What is permanent makeup (PMU)?

Cosmetic tattooing that places specialist pigments into the upper dermis to enhance brows, lips or eyes.

Does PMU hurt?

Mild to moderate. We use medical-grade topical numbing for comfort.

How long does PMU last?

Typically 12–36 months depending on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.

Do I need a patch test?

Yes, 24–48 hours before treatment for pigments and anaesthetic.

Can you work over old PMU?

Often yes after assessment; some cases need removal/lightening first.

What’s included in the price?

Consultation, mapping, bespoke colour, treatment, aftercare kit and a 4–8 week refinement where the package includes it.

Who isn’t suitable?

Pregnant/breastfeeding, active infections, recent roaccutane or uncontrolled conditions. We assess at consultation.

Why do you take a deposit?

To secure your time with the artist; it’s deducted from the final balance under our policy.


Brows – Microblading, Ombré/Powder & Combination

Microblading vs Ombre: what’s the difference?

Microblading = hair-like strokes; Ombre/Powder = soft shaded makeup finish; Combination blends both.

Which brow suits oily or sensitive skin?

Ombre/Powder usually heals crisper on oily or sensitive skin.

How long does a brow appointment take?

Around 2–3 hours including mapping and colour selection.

How long do brows last?

Commonly 18–30 months before a colour boost.

Will they be too dark at first?

They appear darker for 3–7 days, then soften by ~30–40% as they heal.

Can skincare affect my brows?

Yes, keep acids/retinoids and exfoliants away from the brow area to prevent premature fading.

Can I exercise after?

Avoid heavy sweating for 7–10 days.

Is a touch-up required?

Most clients perfect at 4–8 weeks.


Lip Blush

What does lip blush achieve?

Enhances natural colour, defines borders, balances asymmetry (no physical volume like filler).

How long does lip blush last?

Usually 18–30 months.

Does it hurt?

We numb thoroughly; most clients report mild discomfort.

Cold sore history, what should I do?

Ask your GP/pharmacist about preventative medication 2–3 days before and after.

Lip fillers and lip blush—how to schedule?

Allow 4+ weeks between treatments.

Healing time?

Dry/peel days 3–5; colour softens over 4–6 weeks.

When is the refinement?

Typically 6–8 weeks after the first session.


Eyeliner / Lash Enhancement

Lash enhancement vs eyeliner?

Lash enhancement darkens between lashes; eyeliner creates a defined line (classic or soft wing).

Is it safe for contact lens wearers?

Yes, remove lenses during treatment and bring glasses.

How long does it last?

Usually 12–24 months before a boost.

Aftercare for eyeliner?

Keep dry/clean and avoid mascara/lash serums for 7–10 days.

Can I choose thickness and style?

Yes, mapped to your eye shape for comfort and longevity.

Appointment length?

About 1.5–2.5 hours depending on style.


PATCH TEST

Is a patch test required for all treatments?

Yes. Patch tests are required for all pigment-based procedures like brows, lips, eyeliner, and camouflage.


Brow Lamination

What is brow lamination?

It restructures brow hairs so they sit fuller and more uniform.

How long does brow lamination results last?

Around 6–8 weeks.

Do I need a patch test?

Yes, 24–48 hours before your first treatment.

Brow lamination aftercare?

Keep dry for 24 hours, then nourish with brow oil/conditioner.

Can I combine lamination with tint/shape?

Yes, often performed together if suitable.


Lash Lift & Tint

What does a lash lift do?

Curls and lifts your natural lashes for a wide-awake look.

How long does lash lift it last?

Typically 6–8 weeks.

Patch test required?

Yes, 24–48 hours before first treatment.

Can I wear mascara after?

Yes after 24 hours; avoid waterproof formulas for longevity.

Any downtime?

Keep dry for 24 hours; avoid steam/saunas that day.


HydraFacial / Deep-Clean Facials

Who is a good candidate?

Great for congestion, dullness and dehydration.

Is there downtime?

Usually none; mild redness may settle within hours.

How often should I book?

Every 4–6 weeks or before events for glow.

Are extractions included?

Yes, gentle vacuum extractions with serum infusion.

Pregnancy-safe?

We adapt steps/solutions or delay depending on suitability.


Microneedling

What does microneedling help with?

Texture, fine lines, acne scarring and enlarged pores.

How many sessions?

A course of 3–6 spaced 4–6 weeks apart.

Microneedling downtime?

Sunburn-like redness for 24–48 hours is common.

When will I see results?

Glow within a week; collagen remodelling builds over 6–12 weeks.

Pre-treatment advice?

Avoid retinoids/peels for 5–7 days; arrive with clean skin.

Post-care essentials?
